It will screw onto any boom arm as well. Then you'll have ultra flexibility and can get any angle needed for your microphone. You'll see in pics 5 - 9 how this works. While this set up will work with no issues on a floor stand and boom arm.you'll want to use a very heavy desk stand if it's applied to one.
