The reactor is designed in such a way that it sucks in air containing CO2 through the layer of sponge at the bottom. The air is channeled upwards through a grille, allowing most of the CO2 to be removed before it enters the skimmer or reef tank. The media is protected between a layer of special dust-absorbing sponges at the top and bottom of the reactor. The lid of the reactor features a cap with a smart twist lock that allows quick and easy access to the inside of the reactor. To ensure proper airflow intake, a flap and seal have been installed that guarantee airflow from bottom to top. This will gradually consume the color-changing media from the bottom up, making it easy to see when it's time to replace the media. It is recommended to replace the media before the color changes completel.
