It will screw onto any boom arm as well. While this set up will work with no issues on a floor stand and boom arm. You'll want to use a very heavy desk stand if it's applied to one. The gooseneck with mic will be very top heavy so you'll want to use a desk stand with a heavy cast iron base or a base that is very wide.
