Not sure the age - has an older LeCellier stamp LeCellier - Family of metal workers from Normandy in the town of Villedieu-les-Poeles. Wooden handle has chip and has had a hook screwed in the handle end for display. Handle is securely fastened to the pot - one of those fasteners may be a newer nail. Slight wiggle where handle is riveted to pan. Brass shell carved thumb opener. Crown on lid and makers mark. Scratches from polishing in the past. Tarnish. Beautiful patina. Some dents and small cracks on seam. Pot is approx 11 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Approx 40 inches tall counting pot and handle. Lid is approx 8 inches in diameter. Beautiful piece.
