Unopened like new cardboard box, circa 1930's or early 1940's (last patent date on box is 1936), containing Instant Rit brand Tints and Dyes, in this case the dye is the color Orange, made by Rit Products Corporation, Chicago and measuring 3" x 2" x 1/2". Original cost of the box in the store was 15 cents. Looks like it just came off the grocery shelf rather than being approx 80 years old. There are a few of these boxes for sale on ebay, but they all appear to have condition problems and my box is in the best condition and still priced reasonably.
