Unit does play and fast forward cassettes just fine but does not rewind. I could not get the record button to go down to test the recording ability. This can run on four “C” batteries or the supplied power cord. This also comes with untested microphone with stand and telephone pick up. Original manual included. Everything looks great. Mint condition.
