Dating from the 1950s it has 6 slots and compartments, and has the original paper label for the slots showing Rent, Coal, Gas, Electricity and two that were blank but hand written, now illegible. The box has a key lock but sadly I don't have the key. A lovely piece of social history for collection or display, or as a theatre prop. The green colour has been worn back to gold in many areas and the lid is a tight fit, but fully functional
