Thornton Pickard Imperial Triple Extension 1/2 Plate Folding Bellows Camera. This antique folding camera was bought second hand by my father in the 1950s but never used. It has been stored in various indoor dry cupboards since then. The wood (mahogany?) and brass is lovely.It has a Beck symmetrical lens. The screen on the back is 6.25 x 4.5 inches. It has 3 double-sided plate holders. It all seems in good order so far as I can tell. Two non-original wood reinforcements have been added to the base - normally not seen. I have not tested it. Presumably the camera was retired when plate photography became inconvenient.
