The case is aluminium. There are four USB 3.0 ports, dual Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac wifi, an SD card reader, wi-fi and Bluetooth 4.2. The casing is pretty flawless. The pictures show the story: there are no scratches (especially around the common scratch points, the rear slots and the screen); the image has a reasonably even brightness (even with the unforgiving 50pc grey at a little over 50pc brightness, as in the pic).
