Beautiful lacquered box probably Japanese in origin: 11” x 3.25” x 2.25 (no key) - condition issues: there are areas of damage especially on the lid but also on the corners and edges - Including patches of missing lacquer, chips and scratches. There is damage around and inside the box. Please check my photos very carefully to see these issues. Still a useful and beautiful item. Best wishes, T
