I've described the shuffle as used although I suspect it's never been used. I don't have, or access to, iTunes so am unable to categorically state that it is fully functional although I have no reason to suspect otherwise. the shuffle itself is completely free of any marks or scratches as is the outer box. the headphones are still attached to the original packaging with the plastic sleeve still attached. I have connected the shuffle to the mains with the enclosed lead and the orange light illuminates indicating that the unit is charging.
