This is a top-quality after-market neck made by Yanagisawa, arguably the finest manufacturer of saxophones today. Bronze body with contrasting brass (maybe gold-plated?) octave key and details. The bronze has lost some of its lacquer and has patinated, but otherwise in great condition for its age. In the original box, which is slightly damaged, but still protective. I bought this to compare with an earlier brass neck (also for sale) and the solid silver neck of my A-8834. I must say there are noticeable differences - this neck, like the silver neck, has a really heavy, powerful sound, but is darker than the silver. Depends what you are looking for......
