This is for a Bose companion 3 Subwoofer box which has been vinyl wrapped with light oak. the sub has no amp as it failed and I took it out and binned it but I thought the box looked too good to go the same way. the sub speaker is still in place. if you have the Bose system and the cabinet is a bit battered and bruised this will give it a great refresh. the amp from your unit is easy to remove. 6 screws on the amp and 3 screws which are under the sticker of the connection panel which comes off easy with a little heat from a hair dryer and the whole amp comes out, unplug the speaker and put it in the new box put the screws back in and the connection panel sticker and your old battered sub looks new and in my opinion a better bit of furniture then the plain black box.
