This G-Speed Shuttle XL 24TB Thunderbolt 2 drive is fully functional once powered on. It may require multiple attempts (plugging and unplugging) to boot up. At a minimum, the unit provides 8 x 3TB HDD drives that can be used to repopulate another G-RAID Shuttle XL or non-XL unit.
