IWC minute repeater ref 5240 - The ultimate in watch complications. Manual wind watch, solid 18ct gold case, alligator leather strap with gold buckle. Minute repeater function operated by the side lever chimes the time on demand - hours (low), quarters (high-low) then minutes (high). Fully mechanical - no batteries or electronics required. Limited edition of 550 watches produced from 1995-2005, 250 in yellow gold, 250 in rose gold, 50 in platinum. Based on the serial number this is probably from 1997. Full working order, running very well. Complete with box (faux leather is degrading due to its age) and warranty card (blank, as the writing has rubbed off) These pieces rarely come up for sale in the UK, and should hold value being both limited in number and solid gold.
