A very nice period item and necessary for any soldier with a map case. Ability to read and measure distances would prove vital. In excellent shape and fully functional. Constructed from a steel nickel coated body and featuring a nice dial with all measurement still clearly readable, one glass is missing. It comes in the original cardboard storage box. A difficult to find small item.
