This is a sterling silver wine bottle coaster or wine bottle holder. The overall height is 1 1/2", and the diameter roughly 5". The holder has a turned mahogany base. The sterling silver portion is hallmarked GSC for goldsmith's hallmark, and with an anchor, lion passant and the letter M. It is also marked Gainsborough. On the side of the coaster, it is decoratively engraved 25th. There are no monograms. I am thinking this would be a great 25th anniversary gift! This beautiful vintage piece is in excellent condition.
