Reduces/eliminates the need for an EMC line filter and the associated extra circuitry. Photo shows relay undergoing EMC certification tests using a 2.5KW load, fully tested with 20KW load. Base/Heatsink is solid Copper to give better thermal conductivity allowing more current loading.
