(Be really careful to align everything up carefully when assembling these lights so that the micro switch engages fully, or your light will not turn on. In fact check the micro switch is engaging first before you suspect your current light cable has broken as it can often be the case with these heads that the micro switch in the lamp head is not engaging fully and then the light will simply not turn on, even if your bulb and ballast are good.).
