NOTE: I used this to convert old micro-cassette tapes to digital format using an older iMac. Will work for old cassette tape players, boom boxes, old record players with 3.5mm output or with a converter (if you need to convert a 1.4" signal to 3.5mm you will need a separate 1/4" adaptor) and so on.
