This beautiful handmade wooden hay escalator was made for my Father by my Grandfather is around 1943. we played with it a lot when we were younger and it still works. It has a leather belt with pins to grip the hay. some have flattened over the years but still functioning. A beautiful piece from an age where toys were really treasured.
