Post Office Door Bank #15 -Circa 1920 -Flying Eagle- Myrtle Wood
The cabinet is made with old growth myrtle. I like to try different woods in my banks. It's a beautiful hardwood with a tight grain. It’s very dense and heavy. This old growth wood was harvested over 50 years ago.
