Jenkins Special cornet. Likely a Pan American stencil (C. G. Conn subsidiary) based on the "P" serial number, finger buttons and valve cluster resemblance to Conn parts. P21825 puts it in 1921. This cornet is not in working condition. The bell is detached, along with the associated braces. There is heavy tarnish, wear to the silver plate, and dents. The instrument will need cleaning and work to be returned to good playing condition. The pistons are in nice shape without a lot of staining, and all the parts seem to be here. The finger buttons are a perfect fit for pre-1933 Conn trumpets and cornets, so at least it's a source for parts.
