This has been stored away and I have tested it and it works perfectly , better even than my modern version. It now doesn’t fit in with my kitchen. In cast iron, copper and brass plaque. Polished wooden knob to handle. Lugs for screwing onto a worktop if required. Showing rust. I have not cleaned it.
