Antique Victorian Clay Roll-Top Chimney Cowls (Pair) – Architectural Salvage

External diameter 18.5cm. A pair of original antique clay roll-top chimney cowls, removed from a Victorian house built in 1902. These classic half-round “saddle-back” style caps were traditionally used to reduce rain entry and downdraft in chimney flues. • Authentic period pieces – over 120 years old • Made from terracotta clay with natural weathered patina • Roll-top / saddle-back design, typical of late Victorian / early Edwardian homes • Great for restoration projects, period property renovation, or garden/landscape repurposing (planters, wildlife shelters, decorative features) • Sold as a pair Condition: Structurally sound with expected wear and weathering consistent with age. Some chips and surface marks (see photos). Solid and heavy – built to last.
