I bought this jacket from a lady who was stationed on an Air Force Base back in the early/mid 1980s. One of her pilot boyfriends gave her this jacket. This jacket is right from the original Top Gun movie era (one of the best movies ever made!). This particular jacket is designed for the summer flights, so it's warm, but not overkill and could be worn on moderately cold days in fall or winter.
