7 flat pack UK proof coin sets from the Royal Mint, as pictured. These are a date run from 1970 to 1976 inclusive. 1970 is the last year of the pre decimal coins, none were minted for circulation, so just these proof sets , of which there were just over 750,000 minted. The 1971 set is the first year all the decimal coins at the time were minted, 1972,73,74 & 76 contain coins with very low mintages. All sets have the card wrappers, some coins have some toning, but are very good compared to a lot of sets. The 1970 set has the paperwork that came with the set, the other sets were not issued with any paperwork. I'm selling off loads of coins I've collected over the years, please see my other items.
