2024 IT techs added an extra slot of RAM (now 16GB), replaced the Thermal paste and replaced the battery as well as giving it a good dust clean. Only marks or signs of use are on the vents on the underside which have discoloured from the heat over the years (photographed) and a very slight discolouration to the left of the mousepad from 5 years of my wrist resting on it (also on photograph) - only noticeable with a zoom in.
