Introduced in 1964 and the first Canon to use the FL mount. The lens is reasonable but does have a small amount of edge fungus and cleaning marks. Describing as clear in this context is to differentiate between old lenses with serious internal haze, fungus or wear to outer coatings that will affect lens performance.
