A lovely vintage biscuit barrel made from oak with silver-plated metal banding and a matching lid. Inside is a clean white ceramic liner. Traditional country-kitchen style with a swing handle. I believe the metalwork may be silver plated, and there appear to be possible markings on the rim (see photos). However, please study the images carefully as I’m not 100% certain. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear, patina and surface marks to the metalwork. Ceramic liner intact. Please examine all photos for clarity. Measurements are in the photos.
