A Meissen porcelain Kakiemon jug manufactured around 1740 I presume it's meant to have a lid but there isn't one. It features the very rare chrysanthemum pattern. Elaborate handle and spout highlighted in puce. Good condition with chips or scratches. There seems to be a firing crack in the centre of the base. The end of the spout is also slighy shaded which might indicate some restoration. Crossed swords mark in underglaze blue. 9cm tall. This will be sent in a double walled box with plenty of padding using Royal Mails Special Deluvery service.
