(The new Procell batteries have a minimum 5-year shelf life from the Production ("P") date stamped on the bottom of the battery. Example, a Production (manufacture) date stamped on the bottom of the battery such as "P 06/22" will have a shelf life expiry 5 years from that, ie 06/2027, although they will still be good beyond that date).
