For an exceptionally strong fixing into plasterboard, the spring loaded toggle fixings are ideal. Ensure whatever is being fixed to the plasterboard by this fixing is attached loosely to the fixing BEFORE inserting the wings into the hole in the plasterboard, as once in the hole and the wings opened up they cannot be removed without losing the spring loaded wings into the cavity!
