Disconnect the display ribbon from the lcd, if you hear the boot up sound then your main board is ok and it's the screen that failed. ALL PARTS ARE SECURITY MARKED TO PREVENT SWAPPING FRAUD . Take anti-static precautions (earth yourself) before touching statically sensitive boards (main AV boards, T-CON boards for example).
