The N55/S55 suffers from a weak point in its crankshaft. The transmission causes more stress on the engine rotating components at high engine speeds requiring downshifting. In order to keep this from happening, the crank bolt must be secured to the hub to keep it from falling off, but this can be a tricky solution since a simple dab of Loctite will not enough.
