Plays dvds perfectly well. I dont have the items to test the dvd re-writing capabilities. There are no error messages though. There is no remote with this unit. Some age related cosmetic wear but no major dents or missing buttons etc. I have already packaged it in multilayer thick bubble wrap for safe storage until dispatch.
