This painted foam prop of Abraham Lincoln‘s hand from the Lincoln monument in Washington DC was made for a commercial. And the story goes that the director asked for the hands to be cut off. It is unclear what commercial this was used for, but it is a very lifelike recreation. Made of painted foam it could use another coat of paint but has survived well over these past 10 to 20 years. Certainly a conversation piece and a piece of Lincoln history. Item is delicate and needs to be handled carefully.
