They have a warm sound signature, with probably the most layered, deep and punchy bass on any of my many headphones, but without too much bleed into the mids. I really enjoyed them for hip-hop, pop, disco, funk, blues, jazz and anything electronic I could throw at it, from Underworld and Aphex Twin to DJ Hype.
