Original 1943 Beechnut Chewing gum & Candy end crate from the factory in San Jose , California This has the date on it …similar to a license plate with San Jose below the Beechnut. There is a big knot in the wood on one of the E, but you can still see it. The factory was originally in San Jose and I don’t see this old wood crate sign very often at all. Wonderful piece of nostalgia from San Jose, California 14” x 7 1/2” x 1”
