It is solid weighing about 7 lbs. Goldilocks is a beautiful cookie jar and displays beautifully! There are just two or three little dots of red paint missing on the red coat. Underneath the lid, there is a broken piece (only thin area) about 1.5" long that does not affect the integrity of the jar.
