A fantastic and unusual Arts and Crafts period repousse copper bowl, very finely worked with a frieze of dolphins/fish. Bowl measures 9" in diameter and 3.5" high approx and is in good antique condition. As a long term collector of Newlyn Copper and other period metalware- I have been unable to positively attribute this piece. The repousse work is highly accomplished -with texture and definition, and the construction as a whole is seamless and of obvious quality. A lovely item and a great addition to any collection or period interior.
