From my late uncles estate. overall good condition apart from discolouration next to song logo ( see pictures) doesn't effect use please see pictures for condition and video for limited operation its cant test unfortunately I do not have any hi8 tapes to test recording on it so selling as spares or repair but I have no reason to believe it doesn't work as intended comes with brand new battery ( higher mah) and USB charger so a lot more convenient Has never used remote and scart connection even the factory original sony AA batterys Comes with Miranda bag which it fits snuggle in buy from a trusted retro seller with same day dispatch
