The Blancpain Bathyscaphe, specifically the Waltham-branded version, was made by Blancpain, but sold under the Waltham name. Waltham, a US-based watch company, established a Swiss subsidiary which then partnered with Blancpain to offer the Bathyscaphe in the US market under the Waltham brand.
