This cap belonged to the Grenadiers Guard officer, William Mitchell Morton. The cap is in fairly good used condition given that it was ised in service in the middle east. WM Morton was educated at Rugby school during the WW2. He joined the Grenadiers guards and he was sent to Palestine and the Middle East up to 1952. This is the entry in the School register.
