An unusual wine or champagne bottle stand. c1800s. A wooden oak? base, with a metal disc in it’s centre. Sheffield plate on copper. The copper is showing through in places. See photos. Fretted leaves & patterns. Embossed garland. The item will be sent with a piece of green felt. That can be cut and stuck onto the base. Approx: 12.5 cm high, 17 cm wide, internal width at the top 12 cm. Internal width at the base 11 cm. In good used condition. Except for wear to the silver plating. A few dark marks. Signs of use.
