Bound in full green leather morocco (stamped GP Putnam at the Knickerbocker Press on the pastedowns; I'm unfamiliar with the Knickerbocker press having a bindery but who knows) with gilt titles and decoration present to the spine and the boards. Boards have light wear present to the extremities of the boards (corners and extremities bumped and rubbed) No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. William Henry Drummond (April 13, 1854 – April 6, 1907) was an Irish-born Canadian poet whose humorous dialect poems made him "one of the most popular authors in the English-speaking world," and "one of the most widely-read and loved poets" in Canada.
