Jinhao fountain pen ink is a high quality ink, best used with XF, Fine and Medium nibs. Jinhao is a premium ink in China and is certainly as good as any high end branded ink made in Europe or Japan. This is a writers ink or an artists ink. Sure you can use it for making a signature. In my experience, I have not had to flush a pen with a cleaning agent. This ink has a tiny amount of detergent and this cleans the internal components of the pen. I flush the pen by dipping the nib in a bottle of ink and using the convertor to suck in and push out.
