A beautiful 19th-century regency neoclassical design copper or bronzed metal samovar. Of oblong form, the stepped lid with a sphinx finial, lion mask ring side handles, on four fluted supports with sphinx capitals, to paw feet and a shaped, sphinx mounted base, on bun feet. In great condition and fully working. The finial has slight movement, but that is the only fault. Measuring 17" high and 11" wide.
