Whilst water lily seeds usually germinate at a very high rate, only 50% of those seeds will complete the germination process and create water lilies. The key is to keep your water clean and warm. You need to aim to change your water every 12 hours but once your seeds start to germinate, use filtered or bottled water due to the chemicals present in tap water.
