Cool looking vintage Yamaha Cassette deck from the late seventies. Built like a tank! All lights come on and the motor runs smoothly without noise, but the main belt has turned to gunk and stuck to the pulleys. Also the rewind spindle has come off. I found some bits of it inside the case, but the spring and spindle are missing. Electronics look in good nick, no leaking capacitors. A new belt should make it play, and if you can find a suitable spindle it should rewind as well. A nice project for someone with more time (and a smaller pile of broken hifi!) than me.
